In the moveID interview series, each of the 18 project participants introduces himself and explains why the company he represents has become part of the Gaia-X 4 Future Mobility project family.
This interview features Steffen Lutze, Senior Expert Digital Transformation at ITK Engineering.
| motivation | Why did you join moveID? | Software-based systems are increasingly networking across domain boundaries and use cases are being realized across systems from end to end. New technologies and engineering competencies such as #SSI and #DLT, in general, are required to develop decentralized distributed systems. In the moveID project, we want to expand these competencies and learn how to also apply new and necessary technologies from technology partners and integrate them into higher-level solutions. |
| objective | What are you planning to deliver? | We deliver the software and system engineering competence and, together with the project partners, realize a prototype capable of demonstration in a real traffic test field, which is to demonstrate, how decentralized and cross-domain use cases can be realized with the mechanisms and principles of Gaia-X. |
| vision | What is your overall goal? | We want to develop solutions and systems together with our customers to realize sustainable, smart, and connected mobility of the future. In this way, we want to make our contribution towards individual data control and the mobility revolution. |
| emergence | What will moveID facilitate for your organization? | As part of the project, we get to know the technology modules and solution offerings of new project partners. We learn to realize applications together in larger consortia. We see this as increasingly necessary when we develop solutions for the future mobility ecosystem. |
