In the moveID interview series, each of the 18 project participants introduces himself and explains why the company he represents has become part of the Gaia-X 4 Future Mobility project family.

| motivation | Why did you join moveID? | Gaia-X and sovereign data exchange in data spaces are strategic elements for our customers. The expertise in SSI and decentralized data exchange in edge-centered domains is crucial for mobility and other smart solutions to be conceived in the near future. |
| objective | What are you planning to deliver? | Atos will work on architectures and specific extensions to represent semantic properties in self-descriptions of Gaia-X assets. On the implementation level, we will co-develop Gaia-X connectors and building blocks for the mobile data space and validate them in the project demonstrators with the moveID partners. This will provide the sovereign data exchange solution for mobility in edge-based scenarios. |
| vision | What is your overall goal? | To enable fair and sovereign data spaces in various scenarios. Connecting vehicles, facilities, and service points in a Gaia-X data space drive business models which rely on data availability, security, and trust between participants. Looking at the use cases like combining parking with e-charging, fleet management and zoning in cities is just the tip of the iceberg of possibilities coming up. Regarding the solution to the economic and ecologic challenges only a decentral mobility data space that is open and trustworthy, and guarantees reliable sharing of data can answer these challenges. |
| emergence | What will moveID facilitate for your organization? | moveID will especially advance our solution capability with respect to mobility and related domains like smart cities, just to give one example. moveID will provide Atos with solid knowledge and expertise on how to leverage Gaia-X in especially edge-based scenarios which are typical for many mobility settings. One aspect is to act as a multiplier of Gaia-X knowledge within the organization and further strengthen the Gaia-X activities of Atos in general. |
